I am only doing 4 yarn shows in 2026 and then I’m ‘retiring’ from doing the big shows. I find it exhausting to drive much further than Bristol, then set up a big stand, exhibit and chat for two or 3 days, then pack up and drive home. Sadly, as much as I love being at shows with my creative ‘tribe’ of friends, I have to be sensible. However, I plan to still teach workshops at shows if I’m asked to, and visit shows with my best yarnie pal, Steph of Perran Yarns.
Unravel
This yarn show is held at Farnham Maltings from Friday 13th February until Sunday 15th February 2026. I will be teaching a solar dye workshop at this show too. Unravel Link
Wonderwool Wales (TBC)
This big show is held at The Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells, mid Wales. Its a hug show so its really worth buying a weekend ticket and taking your time to look around without feeling rushed. Wonderwool wales link
The Big Flock
The second year for this vibrant yarn show on the edge of Bristol, it is run by Clare and Jon of BirdStreet Yarns and their team. Full of interesting yarn and fibre craft exhibitors and a full workshop programme. I hope to be teaching again here too. The Big Flock link
The Great British Fibre Festival (TBC)
A show that celebrates British wool and hand made products and artisans. It is held in The ColdHarbour Mill buildings near Cullompton in Devon and is a grand day out for all the family. Whilst you browse all the exhibitor stands or enjoy one of the talks or workshops, your family can look around this working woollen mill museum. The Great British Fibre Festival link
