Yarn shows in 2024, tell me more!

I’m excited to be planning for the yarn shows in 2024, meeting you again and making new friends. As you can see, some are confirmed already and some I have applied for and I’m waiting to hear. Those later in the year I hope to apply for, well, I’ll let you know what happens….

Farnham Maltings, Farnham, Surrey, 23-25 February, 2024. This is my third year at this busy and vibrant show. I have created a special solar dye kit for this show called “In the Pink”. I’ll also be bringing my new traditional dye kits and solar dye kits with naturally dyed and undyed luxury yarns.

Stitching For all Exeter

Westpoint Arena, Exeter, Devon, 4-6 April, 2024. My second time at this event, so much of all kinds of stitching crafts. I’ll be bringing naturally dyed cotton fat quarters and embroidery silks to this show as well as my Gorgeous Yarns, natural dyes and kits.

Wonder Wool Wales

Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells, Wales, 27-28 April, 2024. This will also be my second time at this show. Its a huge show with so much for everyone who enjoys wool and yarn crafts. A word of advice? If you can, get a 2 day show ticket, it really is that big!

Great British Fibre Festival

Cold Harbour Mill, Cullompton, Devon, 1-2 June 2024. This is a new show on the calendar, and I’m really excited to have applied. Its truly a yarn show with a twist: focusing on British wool and fibre, production, heritage, traditions and ethical/environmental issues as well as the future, new trends and forever fashion. I’ll be taking my naturally dyed, British yarns, dye kits and patterns. I’m working on a couple of new product ideas too….

Wool @J13

The Heritage, Bishton, Staffordshire, 29-30 June 2024. This is a crazy, creative fun event with wool and yarn delights as well as food stands, live music and fun for the family. A grand day out! I’ll be here for the second year running so I hope to see you. Perhaps you will join one of the workshops at the show….

Stitching For all, Shepton Mallet

Bath and West show ground, Shepton Mallet, Somerset, 19-21 September. I hope to apply for this event as I enjoyed it so much last year. Its the sister show to the Exeter one, with even more for all stitchers. I’m planning to have a range of hand dyed cotton and silk fabric fat quarters and embroidery silks as well as my yarns and dye kits.

3Bags Full

Town Hall, Liskeard, Cornwall, 5 October. This is one of my favourite shows, and I’ll be applying again this year. Its a busy, fun packed day and I’ve done this show for the past 7 years now.

Stitch Fest South West

Newton Abbot Racecourse, Devon, 2-3 November 2024. I have exhibited at Stitch Fest since I started Gorgeous Yarns in 2014 and I’ll be applying again this year. Its probably the largest show in the southwest exclusively for yarn and wool crafts, and as well as almost 60 exhibitors there are workshops and talks too.
