I’ve been thinking about summer projects just lately and wondering about making another picnic blanket. I have already made one with Nurturing Fibres Eco-Cotton in crochet hexagons which is a favourite but I fancied making one with other colours from this beautiful range. The Eco-cotton and Eco-fusion (bamboo and cotton) are perfect for the summer, they are cool, smooth and comfortable, and wash really well.
Here are some free picnic blanket patterns for you……. Knitting , a download for a crochet pattern and crochet pattern. Perhaps you will choose to make your blanket from Nurturing Fibres, a lovely range of sunshine colours. That’s the nice think about making a blanket, the size isn’t crucial, and tension can be a bit off and it shouldn’t matter. You can confidently substitute yarns without worry as long as you check the tension and use the right size needles/hook for the yarn
