Solar Dye Workshop – by Prior Arrangement
This workshop is arranged with your yarn craft ideas in mind. During the workshop you will be able to choose up to 4 natural dyes to create your own unique palette of colours.
During the Solar Dye Workshop:
Choose from a selection of natural dyes to create your unique colour palette and dye a skein of yarn in a jar, just using the power of daylight!
This easy and fun workshop will show you how to dye yarn (or fibre or fabric) with natural dyes without the need for complicated techniques or equipment. The results are colour and lightfast and the yarn can be washed by hand afterwards.
Your skein of yarn will be unique to you and can be in your favourite colours to make something special afterwards.
The workshop cost includes up to 4 natural dyes, luxury 4ply yarn, jar, full instructions and tuition.
Suitable for children over 10, when accompanied by an adult throughout the workshop.
Please bring a strong bag to carry your set up solar jar home with you.
