Dreaming of The Seashore pattern – the printed pattern

This pattern was inspired by the beach at Praa Sands in Cornwall, near where we live. The tide was going out and the ripples on the sand and the waves looked so beautiful, it reminded me of the knitting stich pattern, Crest of the Wave which now features in this design. (Appropriate somehow)

The finished oblong shape shawl measures 22″/56cm wide and at least 66″/168cm long when finished and blocked.

This pattern takes 4 x 100g 4ply (1600m total) and if you have bits of contrasting, textured or silvery yarn, why not add them in as extra detail. Have a look at our hand dyed 4ply yarns here….

Knitted on 3.5mm needles. Why not try these….?
