The DIY Daylight Dye kit contains all you need to dye your own skein of Gorgeous Yarn!

The Kit has a natural undyed shade, gorgeously soft 100g skein of Naturally Gorgeous yarn or sock blank, dye stuffs, mineral mordants, full health and safety advice and instructions of how to set up the kit and latex free gloves. There is also a pattern which works with the yarn and a small free gift.

Each month has a new colour combination,  yarn base, pattern, free gift etc. All you need is a 1.5l kilner jar for each kit and somewhere in daylight to store the jar. (Outside under cover is fine.)

We recommend hand washing luxury fibres, and dry flat.

Why not treat yourself and buy one each month for a year of hand dyed colour?

January: A unique collection of 4 natural plant dried dye stuffs 100g skein of sumptuously soft Naturally Gorgeous 4ply/fingering weight Organic Merino /Alpaca to daylight dye your own yarn. Perfect for natural hand dyeing and no harsh chemicals are used. The dye stuffs included are Cochineal, Madder, Rhubarb Root and Weld to give a sunrise palette of colours from pinky red, through orange to yellow. The yarn will be dyed in a random way using a solar dye technique. The nature of natural dyes means that the exact colours can never be repeated.
