Circular Shrug Pattern – Printed Version
£5.00
This Circular shrug can be knitted on straight needles and joined, or knitted in the round. I have done it both ways and the finished look is just the same. The design starts in the centre of the circular shape and flares outwards, so if you wanted to you could always “ad lib” and make the circle wider if that suits your body shape. You can also combine the 2 sizes in 3 ways to make a small, medium or large circle.
You need: 2.25 mm, 3.25 mm and 3.5 mm needles
Approximate tension 30 stitches over 34 rows to 10 cm/4″ over a 3 x 3 rib on 3.5 mm needles.
It is easy to wear and looks equally good with a smart skirt or with jeans. It wraps behind the neck, across the shoulders, down over the bust and across the small of the back and up over the bust and shoulder to the back of the neck, can be worn loose or fastened with a fancy pin or shawl brooch. Its an unusual design that will attract lots of compliments!
It can be knitted in Frangipani Guernsey 5ply or in a heavy laceweight yarn.
This is a printed pattern which will be sent to you by post. If you would prefer a downloadable version, follow this link…
