Blue Faced Leicester 4ply

Blue Faced Leicester 4ply (BFL) is a well known fine long wool which is soft and lustrous. It is ideal for knitting garments and has lovely drape.  This yarn is perfect for most of the scarf and small shawl patterns we have or for patterns which call for a standard 4ply yarn.

BFL also takes natural and synthetic dyes very well and is my favourite to use for my own projects. 100% British wool. No itchy scratchy yarns here!

We recommend hand wash only for this luxury yarn. Wash gently with a liquid wool wash and blot dry with a towel, then finish drying flat away from direct heat.
