Its the little things that make a difference, don’t you find? Little things like please and thank you, little things like “hello, how are you” and a smile from a shop worker at the end of the day.
I have been thinking about this a lot these past few days; how can I let you, my customers, know how much I appreciate you shopping with Gorgeous Yarns when I can’t see you in person to say thank you and give you a smile? I suppose I’m also really missing the yarn shows that would be going on at this time of year. It’s normally such a busy time for us with 4 shows in the space of 10 weeks. I would usually be getting stock ready, new projects and designs finished and deciding what to take to the shows for you to see and enjoy. The little things that make your experience of Gorgeous Yarns fun and exciting.
Most of all, I miss meeting you in person. It may seem like a little thing, but meeting you, chatting about yarn and helping you choose what to buy at a show really matters to me. I enjoy the little things like the atmosphere at shows, the cold coffee under the stand because I haven’t had time to have a drink, smiling and saying hello to someone new and happy customers walking away with one of our GY pink bags full of yarn .
Did you buy any yarn at yarn shows last year that you still haven’t used? How about during lockdown? Why not pick up a pattern, or choose from our selection and get creating again? A little something for someone as a Christmas present perhaps, or a little treat for yourself because you miss the yarn shows as much as I do.

All our products can be posted to you or to someone else, and we offer optional gift wrapping too. I make sure the tissue and the wrapping paper co-ordinate, and the gift ribbon is tied prettily so the gift recipient will be delighted. We can even add a gift card with your message too.
After all, its the little things.
