Looking for ideas….. Can you help?

I’m looking for ideas…. Ideas of how to improve my blog for you….content you will enjoy reading….things you like and dislike….

I wondered if you could consider the following questions for me, and post comments on our Gorgeous Yarns facebook page or here at the bottom of the blog.

Do you read the blog regularly, and what to you enjoy most?

Do you read other blogs about yarn related topics? What do you enjoy about them?

Do you ever click through from the links in the blog to read more? Where do you like looking for ideas for your craft?

Would a regular pattern of themes be helpful? Would you like to see more of particular topics?

Lastly, where do you see our blog? (i.e. Facebook page, website, Pinterest or Instagram?)

Many thanks for your help, I appreciate your comments.

Other news here at Gorgeous Yarns, I am hoping to set up a gorgeous yarns facebook Group next month. It will be a private group, though anyone can apply to join, and it will be a forum for us to chat; about what we are making, luxury, natural and gorgeous yarns we have found and love, new hand dyes and plant dyes we have tried and all things yarn and fibre related. On a Friday I want to support all our small yarn businesses around the world with a business Friday post, you will be able to post links to your yarn business, favourite shops and yarn stores, and generally share the love of all the gorgeous yarns there are. Keep watching the Gorgeous Yarns Facebook page for more information on how you can join early in August.

Next week I will be at Boconnoc Steam fair  with a friend on a craft stall ” Hand made Eclectic” selling lovely bags, garments, cushions and other things I have made with yarn, fibre and fabric. (If you are planning to come along and would like me to bring any Gorgeous Yarns for you let me know, place an order and I can bring it to the show for you and you will save postage! ) Its a 3 day event, I’ve never been before but it looks like a lot of fun!

Do you have any knitting or crochet on the go at the moment or is it too hot? Here in Cornwall the weather has been very mixed, with flash floods, thunder storms, heavy rain and sunshine, all in one day! I’m finishing a crochet waistcoat which has been great fun and quick to make, I’ll post pictures and the link next week. I’ll also post ideas for quick makes in the summer holidays. Special offer next month on cotton yarns….

Bye for now,
